SharePoint 2010 "Navigate Up" points to the wrong URL

Today I had a problem with the "Navigate Up" button in SharePoint 2010. The server moved once to a new URL, but the navigation was still pointing to the old one. The internet told me to change the masterpage.


After some searching on my own I found the reason in the Site Collection Settings. In "Site Collection Administration" go to "Portal site connection". If was not expecting to find the solution here, but there it was.. the old URL.


Changing the url to the new one resolved my problem. The navigation was updated instantly.

At first you need at least two languages that you want to support. You can add some other languages at the end very easy.
